In the cake pan, cook 6 Tb. of the sugar on the burner until toasted.
Beat the eggs, and add as much milk as the equivalent of the eggs to the
eggs and continue to beat. Add the vanilla and the sugar.
Place the egg mixture in the pan with the toasted sugar. Place the
large pan filled to a low level with water in the oven. Place the
cake pan in the pan with water. Bake at 350 degrees for a half hour
to 45 minutes, until a fork or a knife prick in the flan comes out clean.
When cooled, decorate with cream and fruit if desired. |
